Woodland Chapel is celebrating 60 Years here in Salem, Oregon

November 17, 1957 was the first service held in Woodland Chapel, which had been built by the first congregants.  Woodland Chapel became Salem’s First Church of Religious Science and has been a vital participant in the New Thought movement since.  Friday, November 17, 2017 we will celebrate our 60th Birthday beginning at 5:00pm at 582 High Street SE, Salem, Oregon.  OPEN HOUSE with hors d’oeuvres at 5:00pm.  Radio Readers Theater presentation at 7:00pm  Hospitality will follow.

Ongoing Programs 

Amen Corner

           1st  Sunday of each month following the service that

ends at 12 Noon

Amen Corner provides a space to meet in a small goup in the sanctuary for a short prayer request and prayer treatment immediately following our Celebration Service.   This will be an informal setting with small group interaction, ending with a group treatment for well-being and perfect right action. Practitioner Kathy Prather will lead the  Amen Corner.  

  Introduction to Spiritual Living  

      3rd Sunday of each month 12:30 pm to 1:30 pm

Members, Visitors, and Guests are invited to join in a conversation on what it means to live spiritually.  We meet in the Library after the Sunday program.
