Christine Elder

Christine Elder is a university music professor, classical soprano soloist, practitioner of Quantum Energetic Disciplines, and Reiki master. She has conducted choirs on national television (a CBS Christmas Eve special viewed by 1,000,000 people), has sung a solo in Carnegie Hall, and is the author of the spiritual memoir “Broken Blessings” (Spirit Water Publications).

Christine’s current service work includes participating regularly in free community healing days up in Portland offered by Living Peace International. She is also on staff at Redwood Springs in Salem where she offers energy work.

Christine has traveled to Kenya three times to do service projects (building homes for AIDS orphans, offering a medical bush clinic, etc.) but she believes her greatest achievement to date is her growing understanding of the inherent sameness of all humanity, and of our mutual divinity. “It isn’t what we do, but who we are that is the miracle, and in that we are all equally glorious!”

Christine shares her musical talents at Woodland Chapel on a regular basis. She is married to Rev. Rob Elder and they have four children and two grandchildren between them.
